My childhood sketchbook was punctuated by pages of horses, dragons, and crazy strong women doing incredible things. Manga and video games eclipsed my teenage years, followed by flowing calligraphy and Chinese landscapes in college. Beyond the art program, art nouveau’s detailing, romanticism's dynamism, and surrealism's, well, weird caught me by the eye. Despite these varied influences, my dedication to fantastical elements, unsettling undertones, and most importantly, to the crazy strong women, never waned.

I'm a 32-year-old illustrator living in a rural Wisconsin town with my husband, Matt, and two furry children named Grimm (cat, bratty) and Sora (golden retriever, ridiculous). My passion lies in storytelling, from character design to worldbuilding to writing. This lifelong love affair grants me a versatile skillset as a graphic designer, digital illustrator, and writer, ideal for any indie team that requires one person to fill several roles.
