WHAT EXACTLY ARE THE DEMIGODS?
The demigods are us, the players! Mirn see snippets of our lives in their dreams, and those dreams highly influence mirnic culture.
SO, ARE THE TAILS ACTUALLY...TAILS?
Not quite. They originate from the base of the skull instead of the base of the spine and are prehensile and fully controllable, even the tailmouths. They're more like a second spine.
ARE THERE COLOR RESTRICTIONS ON EYE, HAIR, AND SKIN COLOR?
Nope! Though they trend towards more natural colors, "natural" for them is a bit skewed because their forests are so much more colorful than ours. The sky's the limit, and since they can control how their bodies grow, you can change eye, hair, and skin color at any time!
DO THE MIRN HAVE MAGIC?
Yes, though it's limited to largely plant-based magic. It's what allows them to move the way they do despite being plants, though Priestesses of the Sun usually (not always) have more than most and can do some pretty impressive feats if they set their minds to it. Your average mirn can encourage healthy growth of plants related to their own tree species and maybe do a little healing of cuts and bruises, or possibly some light-based magic as well.
WHAT'S THE TECH LEVEL FOR DAY TO DAY LIFE?
A bit less than ours, but they can hold their own in parallel arenas. You won't see computers or smartphones floating around to automate day-to-day tasks, so things move a little slower, but magical science flourishes. Medically, they're roughly on par since they have access to light, tree, and magical healing. The arts are booming; life is beautiful for the mirn. To get anywhere, you have to walk, and the forests are vast, so tribes tend to be insulated.
DO GUNS EXIST ON THIS PLANET?
Technology hasn't really advanced in that direction yet; think more melee weapons since quarters are always tight and most fighters are tailmouths that have limited sentience allies they don't want to hit with high volume rounds. Give it some time, though, as this could always change as tactics evolve.
CAN GLOWTAILS REPRODUCE?
Since actually growing a child requires tree attachment, no, glowtails can't be the primary reproducing parent. They CAN, however, graft part of themselves to the growing child to pass on their genetics.
CAN WINGED MIRN ACTUALLY FLY?
Not really. They're capable of short glides, but their bodies are too dense for true flight. It's more for aesthetic purposes because, let's face it, wings look really cool.
